In 2008, Proposition R was voted and approved to go forward with the construction/ reconstruction of new buildings at SWC. Over the summer, SWC initiated these projects by demolishing the athletics buildings and pools to make way for the new math, science, and engineering buildings.
The new Wellness and Aquatics complex will be constructed where the annual pumpkin patch and christmas trees once were. This state of the art facility will feature 2 olympic swimming pools, 1 exercise pool and a community gym. Opening in early 2018.
