In celebration of Hispanic Heritage month, the annual salute to hispanic leaders ceremony was held to recognize outstanding latinos within the 79th district.
Southwestern College Governing Board Member, Humberto Peraza and The SWC Sun Editor In Chief, Mirella Lopez were amongst eight recipients.
