Hold on to your skirts, ladies! Although summer has set and autumn is starting its course, that does not mean we need to get rid of our summer essentials. The Ready to Wear collections at New York, Paris, and Milan Fashion week exhibited a variety of trends. Spring trends are the lace, leather, beautiful embellishments, beadings, as well as structured blazers and wonderful color palettes. Two of Style Files favorites this season had to be Rag and Bone and Roberto Cavalli. Both designers stood out from the rest.

Roberto Cavalli’s Ready to Wear, Spring 2013 collection was described as a “transformative power of fashion,” according to Style.com. Cavalli himself described it as a dream. He captured the essence of fashion in focusing on framing the women’s body. Using plenty of intricate embroidery, beading, and leather in his work, Cavalli presented his models with a sleek but dangerous edge. The collection’s color palette included lime green, yellow, peach, and plenty of prints. Cavalli used a lot of white leather in his collection with lots of beautiful detailing added to them.

Rag & Bone channeled their British Heritage to a collection of looks with a modern twist in a color palette included corals, greens, and blues. Their spring collection featured oversized blouses and coats. Some of the models strutted in baggy khaki bottoms and headscarves giving a safari and desert feel as others in leather vests and jackets showed the ongoing motorcycle trend.

Spring 2013 has demonstrated a classy sexy. Showing enough, but not too much.
