On November 8, 2016, hundreds gathered at Golden Hall in Downtown San Diego for the election night. Attendees anxiously waited to find out who would be the next President of the United States.
Former Southwestern College student, Roberto Alcantar, was elected to Governing Board Member seat three. Alcantar will be filling in for Humberto Peraza and looks forward to his term.
Dr. Shirley Weber was re-elected as the 79th District Assembly Member.
